In this course, I will be introducing the main ideas and concepts brought to us by the work of Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist from the early 20th century, and disciple of Sigmund Freud.
We will look at what Jung’s ideas can bring to our personal lives and look at some practical ways to work with them, in order to discover hidden aspects of our personalities, tap into resources we weren't aware of, develop greater self-awareness, wholeness, and compassion towards ourselves and others.

Dreams, Myths and Symbols: The Symbolist Revolution
In this course, you will discover the fascinating world of the Symbolist movement, one of the most poetic and enigmatic artistic revolutions of the late nineteenth century.
Rejecting the materialism and realism of their age, Symbolist artists sought to reveal inner realities—those of memory, imagination, spirituality, desire, and the unconscious.
Through the works of artists such as Gustave Moreau, Odilon Redon, Fernand Khnopff, Jean Delville, Arnold Böcklin, and many others, we will explore a visual language filled with recurring symbols: mirrors, angels, labyrinths, flowers, mythical creatures, sacred landscapes, and silent interiors.
Symbolism was far more than an artistic style. It was a cultural movement that transformed literature, music, theatre, and philosophy.

Cet atelier privilégie l’expérimentation, le geste lent et le plaisir de voir l’image apparaître progressivement, pour un moment créatif, sensible et hors du temps.

Hadewijch of Antwerp: Love, Longing, and the Mystical Life
Long before the works of Meister Eckhart, Teresa of Ávila, or John of the Cross became widely known, a remarkable woman living in the Low Countries was writing some of the most profound mystical poetry of the Middle Ages. Her name was Hadewijch, and although little is known about her life, her words have endured as extraordinary testimonies of spiritual longing, transformation, and divine love.
In this course, we will explore the life, writings, and historical context of one of medieval Europe's greatest mystical voices.
You will discover the unique world of the Beguines—independent religious women who challenged conventional ideas about spirituality—and learn why Hadewijch's vision of Minne, or divine love, remains one of the most original expressions of Christian mysticism.

Schopenhauer and the Wisdom of the East: How Buddhism and the Upanishads Shaped Western Philosophy
In this lecture, we will look into Schopenhauer's life, his main ideas and how he was influenced by Eastern philosophies such as Buddhism and the Upanishads. We will cover earaly nineteenth century Germany, the reaction against optimism, the influence of Kant, and why Schopenhauer thought most philosophers were wrong. We will see how his difficult personality contributed to shape his radical philosophy, and how he encountered India.
